The spouse visa applicant must show they have sufficient knowledge of the English language; There are 3 ways of proving this:

    • You have a physical or mental condition that prevents you from meeting the requirement
    • You come from a native English speaking country such as: Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, the Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Canada, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, New Zealand, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, USA
